for educators

The realities of today’s education system are educators simply were not trained in economics or financial literacy, especially at the elementary and middle school level.   PwC surveyed K-12 educators nationwide to understand their perspective on financial education. Interestingly these educators increasingly view financial education as a responsibility that schools should take on, starting in earlier grades. However, these same educators believe that the resources available for teaching the subject are inadequate.

EconomicsWisconsin is focused on supporting educators across our state.  We host a variety of opportunities throughout the year including workshops, conferences, and seminars. These events provide lesson plans, resources and networking opportunities focused on economic and financial literacy.
